Expertise in eCommerce Luxury Retail with Hauser & Wirth Shop

I’ve led over 100 Online Viewing Room development projects for renounded artists and institutions, including Hauser & Wirth, Hunter College’s MFA Program, and the Public Art Fund.

Online Viewing Rooms allow collectors, art enthusiasts, and researchers to explore diverse artworks from the comfort of home and experience immersive virtual technologies showcasing curated exhibitions. With high-resolution images, editorial interstitials, A/R, V/R, and interactive features, my unique approach and vision to the Online Viewing Room aims to democratize the way we engage with art digitally, and provide artists with autonomy and voice in the way their work is viewed online.

The Ask

In March 2020, Covid-19 changed the world, and with it in-person experiences of all kinds vanished instantly. Hauser & Wirth tasked me with rapidly finding a solution to digitize their exhibition business model, provide blue-chip collectors the opportunity to purchase artworks, and most importantly, find a way to elevate artists’ stories when the world needed it most.

My roles on this project included:

  • Technical Operations & Dev Ops

  • Go-to-market Campaign Strategy

  • Production Oversight (Photography & Videography)

Outcomes & legacy of my work:

  • Created template that has been used for 100+ online and in-person exhibitions

  • 100s of 5-7 figure artworks sold 

  • Sold one work of $15m purely from the Online Viewing Room experience in 2020

  • Multiple high-profile press pieces, including Forbes and the New York Times
